One again I know very little of Hetty, she lived in the hamlet of Nantyffin just a few miles from Maesybidia in Abergorlech married John Jones and had a daughter Jane.

When Hetty died in her daughter Jane moved to live with her Uncle Evan and his wife

Once again in Evan's letter to Ricy in America it is recorded ......

' Jane was 3 years old when her mother died.  Since then until now she has been living with us.  Jane is her name.

There is a house and a garden that Hetty left in a community called Nantyffin.  There is a little money and some things left after her grandmother, our mother.  She is a picture of her mother so you could readily recognise her, she is somewhat taller in stature.'

Nant-y-Ffin is a tiny hamlet on the B4310 where the Nant-y-Ffin tributary joins the River Cothi.

The settlement largely comprises of a small number of traditional houses and a converted mill.

The village is the base of the Raven Trail (or black route) of the Brechfa mountain bike trails.
